'68 Fender Bassman Dripedge in Summerside, Prince Edward Island for sale

Well Folks, It breaks my heart but I'm selling my '68 Bassman. This thing is tripped out and not for the faint of heart. The first Channel is a Marshal Plexi design and the second channel is a coveted '64 blackface conversion. The Bias has been converted to the blackface style(Fixed or adjustable). This head will come with a new set of 5881 power tubes, JJ 12ax7s preamp tubes, all new filter, bypass and coupling caps and plate resistors and many other goodies. It is VERY loud and therefore noisy (which could be mostly fixed with a new choke but it has the original iron in it and I like the tone and don't care about noise). This is NOT a studio amp unless this is what your going for. If you want clean.......not your amp If you want '60's vintage loudass tone.. Here you go. I use it with a single 12" 8ohm speaker cab and it sounds incredible. This amp is sold as is however I am a tech and all the work has been done by me and I will guarantee my workmanship along with all new replacement parts excluding tubes for a year. Lets face it though you will prolly get it fixed for a pretty reasonable rate the rest of its life as I don't want any of my custom gear out there sounding bad. I am open to REASONABLE offers or interesting trades, however I will not be interested in giving money for boot so don't be all like "I'll trade you my Camero if you throw in $3000" or something. Oh the covering is off of this thing and its the original pine box finish with new hardware. I have done all I can do with her and I've played some great gigs with it but It's a little too loud for my old ears. Time for a new project. Pics are coming soon.
